Case Study / Patient Experience + Digital Strategy
Connecting Refresh Medical’s Brand with the Patient Experience
From a new website launch to ongoing strategic advice, helping a physician-led practice connect its identity, patient education, booking experience, and evolving business priorities.
A website launch became an ongoing advisory relationship.
Refresh Medical needed a digital experience that reflected the people behind the practice while helping prospective patients understand their options and take the next step. Vertical Insite translated the brand into a WordPress website, working directly with Dr. Stephanie Corey and Dr. Richard Coia to organize services, conditions, educational content, and booking pathways.
The original logo was created by Jeff Tara at Brand Vue Design. Michelle Roberts at Novus Be Known joined the project to collaborate with Vertical Insite on brand voice. Vertical Insite carried that foundation into the website’s design, content, and user experience. The initial brand voice emphasized a welcoming experience that felt both professional and fun.
The site launched on February 14, 2025. The relationship continued through a name and domain transition, staff training, analytics, changing service priorities, and ongoing patient experience improvements.
Visibility needed to support the right patient journeys.
A polished website was only part of the challenge. Patients needed understandable information, clear pricing and policies, and a reliable route to booking. As the practice evolved, its website also needed to keep pace with changing services and third-party tools.
Paid search illustrated the difference between activity and business alignment. The practice reported that Google-driven bookings were concentrated in IV Therapy, an area it did not want to prioritize. Vertical Insite questioned where ads were sending visitors, whether landing-page messaging matched the offer, and which actions people took after arriving.
- Connect the physician-led identity with clear, approachable patient education
- Help visitors explore concerns as well as named treatments
- Evaluate traffic and booking activity against the practice’s actual priorities
- Keep service descriptions, booking links, pricing, and policies consistent
Connect brand, patient understanding, and practical next steps.
- Create a website that makes the practice’s services and approach easier to understand
- Build pathways from patient concerns to relevant services and consultation
- Support search visibility with useful, physician-reviewed content
- Make booking and call activity more visible through analytics and tracking
- Give the team tools and guidance to manage an evolving website
Look beyond traffic volume to relevance, trust, and intent.
As the brand evolved, its messaging evolved too. The original invitation emphasized an approachable, professional-but-fun experience. Later research and advisory work led Vertical Insite to recommend putting medical professionalism at the center of the message, with the practice’s physician-led approach as its defining distinction. The direction retained warmth while giving greater emphasis to expertise, trust, and personalized care.

Vertical Insite combined website analytics with conversations about what the practice was seeing in appointments and inquiries. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager connected booking and phone clicks with landing-page engagement and scroll depth. Reporting focused on U.S. visitors to make audience analysis more relevant to the practice. This helped frame marketing decisions around the services and patient relationships the doctors wanted to develop, rather than total traffic alone.
Content planning considered how people describe their concerns before they know which treatment to ask about. Separate condition pages for perimenopause symptoms, menopause symptoms, and weight gain and metabolic changes connected patient questions with relevant service information. Draft content was reviewed and approved by the physicians before use.
Ongoing advisory conversations also explored physician-led positioning, patient education, referral opportunities, events, and membership. Working strategy outlines gave the doctors a phased framework for evaluating next steps against their goals, priorities, and budget.
The guiding question: does the digital experience help the right people understand the practice and take a relevant next step?
Create the foundation—and keep it aligned as the practice changes.
Vertical Insite delivered the WordPress website and continued to connect day-to-day updates with the broader patient experience.
